Format
Each presentation will introduce a topic that, while having minimal prerequisites, is not covered in the standard undergraduate curriculum. Then, attendees will work in groups on a short problem set using those concepts.
No background is assumed beyond freshman level mathematics (single and multivariate calculus and linear algebra) and, for the afternoon, freshman level science (Maxwell's equations).
